Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art of placement
that creates harmony and prosperity in our lives. If you have walked into a home
or a place of business and instantly felt at ease, chances are you have
experienced good Feng Shui. If you
couldn't seem to get out of a store or office fast enough, you may have been in
an establishment that didn't have good Feng Shui.
For over four thousand years, Feng Shui practitioners have
balanced the relationship between the natural world and our dwelling spaces.
While it began as a method for choosing auspicious land for optimum
survival, Feng Shui is recognized today as an effective method for helping us
function in our complex, modern societies.
Feng Shui practitioners believe that adjustments to our
outer physical world change and improve our inner selves.
Purposeful placement of objects using Feng Shui techniques creates
balance and frees energy in our environment and in our lives.

The Chinese Feng Shui character literally means "wind
and water." This represents a natural balance of opposite forces such as
the familiar yin yang.
The
bagua is traditionally represented in the shape of an octagon.
Each facet of the octagon is assigned at least one of life's aspects,
such as career concerns, a natural element, and at least one color.
Feng Shui has been practiced for 4,000 years.
Over time it has evolved and several different schools of Feng Shui have
developed. All are respected and
still used today.
In very basic terms a Feng Shui cure adjusts the energy or
chi of the home. One of the most
simple and important ways to get ready to place cures in your environment is to
clear the clutter! Feng Shui consultants teach that only those items that are
useful, beautiful, or sentimental should be sharing your space.
Evaluate and take note of what you are living or working with.
Give away, sell, fix broken items, recycle.
Start with only one drawer or one closet.
You will be amazed at the engergizing effect this will have.
Get organized and get ready to see results.
Home and Office Previews
Determining in advance if a home or office is going to be overall
supportive or non supportive to you can save you a great deal of money,
frustration and potential health problems in the long run. Just
because a home or office looks beautiful and/or has a wonderful view, does not
mean that it is ideal for you.
Here Are Some Feng Shui Real Estate Considerations
- What makes one house or office better to live or work in than another?
- What makes a property sell for the right price and terms?
- How to determine if the entrance to your home or business will give you
the maximum amount of good energy?
- Knowing how environmental considerations, such as traffic direction,
street location, nearby buildings and other influences can either aid or be
detrimental to your location.
- Knowing ways to determine if a new home or office under construction is
right for you.
- Knowing ways to arrange your environment to achieve your goals and
heartfelt desires while maintaining environmental balance and harmony.
